JUMO is a global organisation and we have adopted privacy principles that are aligned to the principles across all the territories we operate in.

  • Purpose Limitation: JUMO only collects data necessary for specified purposes. Should the purpose change, we will notify you.
  • Data Minimization: Jumo ensures that personal information collected is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for its purpose.
  • Accuracy: JUMO takes all reasonable steps to ensure your information is accurate and up to date. You are able to access and correct your information.
  • Security: We protect your data with appropriate security measures.
    Storage limitation: JUMO ensures that personal information is maintained in a secure environment for a period no longer  than necessary for the purposes for which we are using it.
  • Accountability: We take responsibility for our data protection practices.

  • Identity Data: first name, maiden name, last name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender, identity or passport number or any other form of official or nationally recognised identity.
  • Contact Data: includes home and postal address, email address, telephone numbers and country of residence.
  • Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login information (where applicable), browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this site.
  • Usage Data: includes information about how you use our website, products and services.
  • Marketing and Communications Data: includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
  • Correspondence Data: includes any correspondence and communications with JUMO
  • Recruitment and Employment Data: including previous job history, educational details and contact details.
  • Sensitive personal information: In limited circumstances, as a JUMO employee or potential employee, some programmes may involve the collection of certain sensitive health information (e.g. medical certificates submitted to us or other health-related benefits processes), financial information (e.g. payroll) or information about race or religion when mandated by local laws. Such sensitive personal information will be treated with the utmost care and in accordance with special requirements set out in applicable data protection and other laws in the territories in which we recruit.
  • Other publicly available personal data: including any which you have shared via a public platform (such as Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn)
  • Our websites and services are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect any personal information related to children.

3. How Do We Collect Personal Information?
  • Direct interactions: Registering on or submitting information through any JUMO website or by corresponding by post, phone, email or otherwise. 
    subscribe to our service or publications;
    • request marketing or communications to be sent to you;
    • apply for an employment vacancy
    • enter a competition, promotion or survey
    • give us feedback or contact us directly ; or
    • provide feedback or contact any of our partners
  • Automated technologies or interactions: By interacting on the JUMO website,  Technical Data technical data is automatically collected about equipment, browsing  actions and patterns using cookies and other similar technologies.  We may also receive Technical Data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies (please see paragraph 5 below).
  • Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic information for any purpose.  Aggregated Data could be derived from your personal information but it will not directly  or indirectly reveal your identity.

4. Cookies and Third Party Analytics

Cookies: JUMO employs the use of cookies to allow us to tailor our operations and website to you, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful or not. A cookie in no way gives JUMO access to your computer or any of your personal information, other than that which you choose to share with us. Third Party Analytics: In order to ensure that the content of our websites remain up to date, user-friendly and comprehensive, we use a web-analysis tool from Google , i.e. Google Analytics. This service uses cookies that track traffic on our website and your preferences during your visits to our websites. The information that is used during this process (which includes your IP Address) is de-identified and makes personal identification impossible.

5. How We Use Your Information
  • Recruitment and Employment: To process job applications, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
  • Investor Relations: To manage investor inquiries and communicate company updates.
  • Website Improvement: To analyse website traffic and enhance user experience.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with the following third parties:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist with recruitment, website hosting, and investor relations.
  • Legal Requirements: Authorities if required by law or to protect our rights and interests.

JUMO will retain personal information for the duration of your relationship with us, and afterwards for such period as may be necessary for our legitimate business purposes (including compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations) and to protect the integrity of our services. We follow our internal data retention policy to determine appropriate retention periods for personal data.
